Hi all Rumors

Purchased non working Mac pro with D300 graphic card , defective was B board with no usable picture on it.

Before I ordered second hand D500 GPU from ebay, I was thinking ,by seriall number , that Mac pro have 2xD500 graphic in it !

And finally Supprise man sent me D700 as D500 from ebay which was acceptable from me :).....

Now I have usable picture with D700 but strange is that I cant instal Mojave on it ? All hardware tests mac pro is passing but
stumped at High Sierra why?

Is anybody have the same combination of GPU and is this dangerous combination?

That's a good question. I don't see why you would be prevented from installing Mojave. For better stability I suggest to replace the single D300 with a D500 or D700 so that the system is only using Tahiti drivers instead of both Pitcairn and Tahiti drivers. (D500 and D700 use the exact same graphics driver.)

Hi
Today I received New D500 and now Mojave can be installed normally.
So my conclusion High Sierra can install two different graphic drivers and Mojave don't?

Now on stabile Mojave installation for few hours.

The same happens for a MP5,1 when having two GPUs, e.g. a GT120 for Boot Screen and a RX580.

High Sierra was fine, Mojave crashed.

Just after High Sierra dual Graphic card drivers disabled in Mojave and after...
Now I have D700 B card and D500 A card and everything goes well so far!
