I'm surprised since nobody ever mentioned anything about it as M1 Max had a connector to make M1 Ultra. If M2 Max does not have it, then we cant really expect M2 Ultra.

Curious to know if anyone tear down M2 Max chip to see if it has a connector just like M1 Max?

Not public yet, but seems (if tips are true) it includes two UltraFusion interface at north and south, it could allow to serial-cascade it upto 4 nodes if said UltraFusion interface upgraded on twice Data rate at least.

Last time (iirc) marcan42 (Asahi Linux guy) also used software to determine whether the M1 Max had 2 connectors and was able to conclude it was just one. I wonder if he has said anything again.

It seems to have at least double bandwidth and single sided , I'm not sure about his method but not a PCIe bus (which reports just one) indeed apple may proceed in N ways .
