Yeah I had VM Ware previously installed on my mac, now on Yosemite it stopped working. The app is 'incompatible' with the operating system. Its shows the current VM Ware logo faded and crossed out in Applications or Launch Pad.

The OP is asking if anyone has installed Yosemite as a guest OS on VMware fusion.

Yes I have installed Yosemite using VMWare Fusion 6.03 -

I used the mavericks defaults but told it to load from an image - then pointed it to the Yosemite App in the apps folder...

It does run a little slow - but works for testing purposes just fine...

10.10 Works in VMware 5

Hi

Yes, it works! Upgraded to it from a copied Mavericks VM which was created using an upgraded Mountain Lion VM.

Just takes forever to boot up (Like 5-10 minutes) and the dock and all transforms and movements are very ugly due to poor graphics performance.

But it does work. Just don't expect it to work fast or well! haha

Gave my 10.10 VM 2 processor cores and 6GB of RAM.

I am curious how everyone got 10.10 installed in Fusion. I downloaded the app and can't load the .app file in Fusion.
