It was "back" when the books in Apple Books became books. It was also "back" when the Light mode variation had the exact same texture. Or when the fireworks in Messages looked like fireworks. :rolleyes:
 
Pretty sure the light mode variant texture is identical to that seen in iOS 12, so wouldn't actually consider this a reintroduction
 
That leather texture was there back in iOS 10 or even 9 i remember. Hardly something new to iOS 13.
 
They've been consistently pushing inconsistent UIs across the OS since iOS 7. Home and iMessages are perfect examples - both apps have bewilderingly bad, inconsistent and unintuitive UIs. What is that zoomed in app bar in iMessage? WHo signed off on that?

Skeuomorphism has been in the Notes app in each version of iOS. Same with Reminders.

Just stating my views - never claimed to ‘know better than everyone else what good design is’. Also, your comment isn’t very accretive, nor does it postulate your own point of view.
 
Has it gone from the Reminders app in both light and dark mode with the redesign? I hate it in the notes app, its the main reason I use a different app for my notes.
