I hope I just accidentally pulled a switch that changed the layouts of the *Purchased* tab in the Movies/TV Shows app, now it looks like this (https://imgur.com/a/QSiOY) but I swear this must've just recently changed on the recent beta of iOS 10, because I haven't notice this change before.

This sucks, I miss the traditional layout, is this how it is now or is there an option for this?

I don't know what the "traditional layout" you're referring to looked like. This seems very familiar to me (although I have Dark Mode on)

EDIT: Just checked on my old ATV 3 and the layout is identical....

it looks like this https://imgur.com/a/TPhPs It is a clean layout with no left side bar, it didnt have categories and the it just showed the movies in alphabetical order. but i found out on a reddit post that when you go over a certain amount of movies, itll display the left side bar. which i dislike...

Ah you've educated me! I'd never seen that view - probably because I had too many movies/tv shows when I first got an Apple TV. I'm glad you found the answer to your problem, even if you prefer the other layout!

this isn't an tvOS 10 change, it's like that now on tvOS 9

I have around 80 movies now, just having them all there would be a bit of pain, the kids section especially is handy to get the Disney movies on for my son.

Layout options/preferences would be nice though ... but Apple know what we like better than we do, don't they ;)

I never understand this argument or line of thinking (it's always brought up whenever someone doesn't like how something looks or acts.)

It's THIER software, it's THIER product and they can make it look and function how THEY want it to. It has nothing to do with them telling people what they should like. That's like saying Levi because the way they design and make their jeans, that's them telling people how to like jeans. No...that's them putting out a product they want to put out.

Exactly. I choose not to upgrade to any TV box from my Roku 3 until one of these boxes designs an interface around MY content. If they keep making THEIR software the way they do, I choose not to buy it. This goes for everyone. None of these boxes are designed correctly.

Let me know if you need help getting down from your soapbox.

What an absolutely ridiculous thing to say, and the worst analogy I've ever read.
