Did I buy the right iMac?

Hi,

I just purchased an iMac ( middle tier that starts at $1299) and upgraded to the fusion drive. I am really a casual user and the only gaming I do is the sims. No video editing or anything like that. Would this computer be okay for me? FYI this is my first Mac ever.

Should do just fine for casual use (internet, email etc.).

can you max out the Sims on it?
If not, would spending a little bit more on the video card help you achieve this?

I sometimes regret my imac purchase, as the next-level video card would have let me play the games I like at a more spectacular detail setting. However, it would have meant getting a custom build, without the benefit of a memorial day sale price; which would have blown my budget.
