Downloaded evasion, I'm using Mac Mavericks and running iOS 7.0. It's just stuck on the apple logo and my computer won't even recognize my device anymore

Search how to get it in DFU. iTunes will pick it up then to restore.

Tried that. Always worked for me before but my computer is not recognizing it what so ever

DFU mode is tricky. You have to get the timing JUST right.

Not tricky at all!

Connect USB
Hold both power+home until device turns off
keep holding for 3 more seconds
release power while keeping holding home for 10 more seconds

done

You still have to get the timing right. I think that is the mistake a lot of folks make.

Geez never mind I FINALLY got it to work. I've used DFU mode too many times to count because well...I like to do stuff I'm not supposed to (don't we all) and I've never had DFU mode be that tricky with me. In seconds, I tried 8, 9, 10, 13, and 15. Guess 13 was the lucky number.

There should be a requirement, that before you can proceed with the Jailbreak. You can successfully enter DFU mode. It would eliminate all these inane posts.

There should also be a requirement to check someones personality before signing up for a forum but hey I guess that technology hasn't been invented yet.

You've been here since 2010. You should know how to use the search function. Instead, you decide to create a post of your own(hey the world revolves around you, right). The slightest bit of effort from you would have yielded countless posts, JUST LIKE YOURS. With countless responses all saying exactly what these say. DFU mode and NO, YOU CANT "BRICK" an iPhone. Which, you should know by your claim of I've used DFU mode many times"

So, what should you take away from this? That you should put forth some effort next time and you won't get snarky responses, to a question that has been answered a million times over across this forum and the internet.

I'd like to know of one instance when that has happened. I'm sure it CAN be done. But the likely hood is about as good as you an I winning the lottery on the same day.

Lol, very true. But I could brick your phone if you want me too? It's possible, just, as you say, extremely unlikely.
