Just curious if Apple snuck in a fix for the battery power issue.

How could a carrier update fix a battery issue? Btw, I am not having any battery issue.

NO, it will CAUSE your Battery Issue.

When you start trying to send a bunch of picture messages, you will drain your battery a lot faster....

Did the MMS carrier update cure swine flu?

I don't want to get anyone too excited - but the MMS carrier update has created peace in the middle east. Apparently all the countless deaths and religious conflicts were all because of MMS resentment

It didn't fix the battery issue, but it did somehow reimburse my checking account for every ATM surgarge fee I've ever incurred.

1. - wtf are you thinking that a carrier update only would fix a bettery issue.
2. - do you think people would have time to even figure that out if it were possible since they probably just installed?

"Did MMS carrier update fix my battery issue?"

NO because it's not out yet!

(correct me if i am wrong)

I just synced and no update yet.

btw- I assume the best way to tell is via Settings>General>About Carrier = AT&T 5.x vs the old 5.0.... no?

The only thing it's going to cure are all the pointless threads of "when is MMS coming out, it's late summer” Then I suppose there may more threads coming out on another problem just another beast to slay

brvheart: Excuse me for being an idiot. I didn't know the difference between carrier update and iphone update. But gosh, I didn't expect people to know right away if the update had affected battery life.

But, at least thank me for starting a "humorous" thread.
