I was testing a fx 4500 that i flashed 30 minutes ago and wanted to do a openmark benchmark it went down to 9 fps then click device shut itself down. I first though it overheated or something because it switchs itself off immedietly when i press the power on button. I can see that motherboard has electricity thanks to yellow led that relieves me a little .

I was using molex to 6pin from dvd rom. Looks like machine boots when i remove the 4500 and install the 6600. It shuts itself again when i plug both of the gpus in even if the 4500 doesnt have power cable plugged in

Have you been able to fix 4500 since then to make it work?

Well the fx 4500 is dead but its my fault. I tried to do stress test on the 4500 with molex power split from dvd rom. It wouldnt boot with it at first so i installed it at the test rig it went fine and boom something shorted. When i tore it down looks like i blew the mosfet luckily i have a donor dead 4500 with good mosfets so gonna swap them and clean the board when i can find free time. Other than that my quad works perfectly.

Tldr dont power the 4500 through split molex connector. Dont be stupid. Dont be me

How should I power it correctly? I am asking since I got 4500, but still not flashed (so I did not try installing it yet).
