From the Keynote it's pretty clear that Notes made the transition. I share a number of Reminders List's with my wife and syncing has always been terrible. I am looking forward to Apple putting it on iCloud!

I was wondering the same. I'm also curious what the purpose of Reminders will be if Notes can also do a Check List in there as well. Seems like Reminders and Notes could easily be merged into one app.

I didn't think Notes could give you reminders, aka notifications.

You're right, but Notes also couldn't do Check Lists prior to iOS 9. I'm suggesting that Apple could add the Notifications piece to Notes and then there would be no purpose to Reminders... I think.

My main machine is on Mountain Lion. Can I still sync Notes and Calendar between my iMac and iPhone, even if these apps use iCloud Drive...?

Furthermore, will Fantastical 1 (Mac version) still work?

Wife and I tried so hard to use reminders, gave up and happily use Wunderlist now. I hope they help it but sometimes it would be days before an item would sync. Not usable at all.
