'Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery' as they say, lol.

How pathetic can Samsung be. They're mimicking Apple in every respect. Innovators with their own design sense? No, not in any respect. Just look at their Samsung Store, blue shirts, maple tables ... Samsung must eat, think and drink Apple kool-aid even more than us so called 'Apple fan boys'.

It's ridiculous, and people want to buy products made by this company, hilarious!

Retail... well, luckily Apple doesn't have a patent on retail layout. Anyways, back to topic... Samsung can do as they wish.

Microsoft started this as well a bit before Samsung, let's see how it plays out.

Sure, Samsung can do as they like ... but geez when is enough enough ... now they've got genius clones, LOL.

Shows how cowardly they are to actually innovate and try things on their own in the beginning ... same blue T-Shirts ... doing everything they can to duplicate Apple's success.

What do they hope people see a blue T-shirt genius clone at a maple table and think it's an Apple store?

Samsung is on the way to destroying their own reputation.

Seriously buddy, get a grip. It's no shock so many people end up hating Apple. It's because their blind followers are so nuts. Do you seriously think that Apple invented the retail store. First off, Sony and MS both have stores. Second, that Samsung store isn't using cheap IKEA looking tables either. As for the employees uniforms? Their wearing Samsung Blue polo shirts. As opposed to Apple cheap looking blue t-shirts. Blue is not even Apple's corporate colors, where in the case of Samsung, it is. And I don't think they arrogantly call themselves geniuses either. What an effing joke.

Samsung is so obvious.... LMAO.

What Samsung is doing is equivalent to pointing your finger extremely close to someone's face and saying "I'm not touching you".

Look at Samsung's logo. Yeah, blue.

I didn't know that Apple were the first company to start using maple tables. I guess my apartment is an Apple Store clone too. Look, I'm even wearing a blue t-shirt!

Yep, Samsung took ideas and cues from Apple on their retail store. As did Microsoft. Did Wal-Mart copy KMart or Target? Did Comet copy Best Buy? (<- reference to UK). No one cares, except for those that despise anything not Apple.

And I wish I had a Samsung store and a Sony one too. I would go to those stores as often as I do the Apple store near me.

I think you're be very silly. Offering in store support staff with some level of technical knowledge is a good thing if they can make it into a profitable retail business. In Apple's case, do you think they wouldn't copy a good idea? Blue shirts remind me more of Best Buy, but that's irrelevant here. If you look at Microsoft, a big concern is brand identity. They want to ensure that they remain known by more than the IT crowd:D. This should also be a concern for Samsung, but trying to determine copying quickly devolves into a lot of pointless FUD. Note the prior store design with the icons that wasn't even commissioned by Samsung. I can't remember the store name or I'd link it for reference.

Actually it looks a lot more like Apple stores copied Cingular (AT&T) stores first. They look exactly alike except for the colors.

Does Apple have a patent on there stores too? Probably, it is Apple. Mate, stop making up these stupid reasons to why Samsung is a 'bad' company. Yes, they may have a copied Apple in the latest fight, which mind you was from their Samsung Galaxy S device, which was one of there fist devices into the smartphone market, but just quit it. The tables don't look anything like Apple's, nor does the store itself and with the blue t-shirts, Samsung logo is the word Samsung in blue. Now, with that said, can you please stop making these pointless threads.

There is nothing wrong with copying a successful and useful idea UNLESS IT'S PROTECTED BY PATENT OR COPYRIGHT.

There. Was that loud enough to get the message across?

As previous poster pointed out, any business can do what apple did and not get sued or anything as long as there is no copyright protecting it.

Its a electronics store. How else do you think they should lay it out? Hang Laptops and screens from the ceiling with wires? Maybe use shelves like shoe stores use to put things on?

I guess Best Buy and Frys should redo their whole store. There are gigantic Apple clones

Really, who cares what the stores looks like. You try to make the store look good while having the products easily accessible.
