Went to go do something and left my computer sleeping when I came back it had logged me out of spotify with this error. I've tried to turn off the squid proxy and change spotify settings to select 'no proxy' but it doesn't seem to do anything. Log in with Facebook also shows a different error saying 'No internet'. Anyone else having this problem or has seen anything like it?

Unfortunately seems like it’s not just me - https://community.spotify.com/t5/De...Error-Code-22-Version-1-0-89-313/td-p/5581705

Seems like people who asked supported got a response saying 10.13 is now the new minimum version. I suppose it was bound to happen at some point.

What makes this even worse is the web player for Spotify is completely busted, you can play a song for about ten seconds then the sound cuts out.

I think I’m gonna use spotify_dl and download all my playlists and then listen to them locally.

I don't use any of these music streaming services (I buy MP3s), but maybe it's time to switch to Apple Music, or whatever Google is calling their version nowadays? You should be able to access either via Chromium Legacy. I have no idea why Spotify's web player isn't working in Chromium Legacy...

Ah maybe it's time I start up a cd collection and rip those, always wanted to do that. What makes it more annoying is it seems like Spotify made a conscious choice to turn it off because they want everyone to use the new Spotify UI. So the app still functioned perfectly! Yeah it's a shame it doesn't work but I can use firefox for now, it's a pain firefox doesn't have a similar PWA system like chromium does though.

I wonder if you could just modify the .plist and change minimum version on the version I'm using. That use to work with firefox back in the day.
