I'm still sitting at 10.4.9 on my SR MBP because I don't want to go through all the hassle people have experienced with the wireless-related kernel panics. On the Apple Discussions forums it seems to have caused new problems for some people but I haven't seen a lot of posts about it actually fixing the problem others were having. What about you?

Did the Airport update fix the kernel panics?

i updated and no probs and i use airport 24/7, however i have a macbook....i dn' think there is any diference
For the past month I've been using my SR 2.4ghz MBP and airport extreme with a usb hub attached to a hard drive and printer without any kernel panics at all... Saw no difference at all with the new update.
I've kept my mac up to date so far, and everything runs perfect. No kernel panics for me, thank you (*knocks wood*).
