Hi

I just updated my iPhone to iOS 14 Beta 4 and I realised that I no longer able to play some YouTube videos at 2160p resolution. Only HDR videos are able to play at 2160p resolution. Is this a bug?

Not only that, they crippled YouTube app on iPadOS and stops me from properly playing video.

same here. Installed iOS 14 beta, was getting 4k, after updating YouTube, they seem to have cut that out.

such a shame. My guess is that they don't wanna pay the extra traffic of millions of iProducts running videos at 4k, so they will cap at 1080p regardless if the iPhone or iPad is tot capable of playing 4k videos from YouTube app.
