that the Macbook Air 13" screen is higher resolution than the Macbook Pro's 13" screen? That bothers me a bit. Anyone know why? That's one of the main reasons I don't really want to buy a 13" Macbook Pro right now. The MBA has the same resolution as the 15" Macbook Pro! D: I am sad. Very very sad. The Macbook Pros just came out, so they should have the higher resolution.

This has been known for a long, long time. No one knows why, but that's just the way it is.

The MBA is meant to be a premium computer for people who don't need their laptop to do any 'heavy lifting'. In this context the higher screen resolution makes sense.

Having said that, the screen on a 13" MBP is still pretty decent!

What people don't realize is that the MBA is really ABOVE the MBP in the sense that, it's geared toward a consumer who already has a Macbook Pro or iMac.

With that said, I'm not totally sure why it would have the higher res screen, but the fact that the MBP released WITHOUT it is baffling. At least it should have been an option.

I found it really weird that Apple didn't implement it in the mew MBP. Just another reason to buy MBA
