Title says it all. For those that have both. Are they the same size?

Just came back from trying in store. Measurement tool put me between size 7 and 8 (a bit over the line towards 8) and the size 7 Solo loop (sport) feels great. But the size 7 braided loop is too big and need the size 6 it seems. Also, in the store one of the parts of the braided loop came loose and looked pretty bad...so that convinced me to go with the sport one for now.

Same size in both for me. But there isn't a next smaller size to try on, anyway. Oddly, I find the braided slightly tighter, but that is the opposite of what everyone else says.

Come to think of it, I’d say that the braided loop is slightly bigger, too. However, it has more elasticity than the silicone solo loop. I also find the braided loop easier to put on and take off.

Not from Apple store - but the Braided ones (size Medium) I ordered felt much larger than the Solo Loop (also medium). Both from the same company.

I’m nearly certain that I’ll be returning my size 4 braided and having a size 5 solo loop and braided solo loop. I’m too concerned that the size 4 will be way to tight in the summer.
