Since the release of the MBA today, I'm looking at the consensus of who ordered their MBA with Apple Care today?

I guess it's more like an insurance policy so it can be repaired or replaced.

Thank you for your input. It will help me in my decision.

Regards,
Darren

You can buy it with your purchase or wait 364 days. It's really up to you... I suggest getting it either way though; they replaced my logic board on my MacBook, hard drive, keyboards... lots of stuff that went bad over the course of 3 years. Most of that happened at the 2.5 year mark too ;)

In the United States, most major credit cards provide an additional year of warranty after the manufacturer's warranty ends. I think two years of free coverage is good enough so I'm going to pocket the money I save from AppleCare for something else.
