Apple is now selling USB type c 18w adapter as they say it can fast charge iPhone XS Max.

How is it different compare to 18w USB type A adapter comes with iPad?

Should I only use type c 18w adapter to charge AirPods pro and iPhones? Or type A 18w adapter is ok?

The USB-A adapter is 12 watts, not 18. iPad Pros come with the 18W USB-C charger.
You won’t damage anything by using the 18W adapter but overall battery life may be slightly reduced by fast charging.

AirPods pro comes with type c to lightning cable. I don’t have anything to connect type c port.

Can I charge AirPods Pro with type a to lightning cable?

Apple customer service guys suggest to use cable comes with AirPods pro.

What do you suggest?
