Is there a list somewhere that shows how multi-touch trackpad gestures for various actions differ between Snow Leopard and Mountain Lion? I think it will make transitions for people coming from SL easy.

I think the only difference is the new tab browsing in Safari and the Notification Centre.

If they haven't used Lion though they'll be all those trackpad commands too?

Go onto system preferences and trackpad, you see demos of all the available gestures there and can even change some of them

I agree with TexasChemE.
I will end up setting everything the way I want it with BetterTouchTool anyway. I think it is ridiculous that Apple calls new gestures features. That is just a setting that anybody can change to whatever suits best.
