I've noticed with my new Series 3 that just the magnetic charging cable charges the watch faster than my iHome dock. Is there any reasoning behind this?

What’s the voltage rating for your iHome? Plus, if your iHome dock is also charging another device at the same time, that also might regulate the differentiation of the charging frequency for the Apple Watch.

3 volts. But next to that it says AC adapter, so I’m not sure what to think.
