BTW, what's with the different size Dock Conector for the Touch.

And is it all in my mind, or does a standard conector feel like it's going in tougher

in your mind. Mine works great int 3rd gen dock

Haven't yet tried out third gen FireWire cord

It seems different

Well it does seem different to me. My iPod video cable is is larger and has push areas on the sides. My iPod touch connector does not, it is 1/2 the size and just slides in. I have definately had conncetion/sync problems using the iPod video connector with the iPod Touch. In addition the iPod touch works in my Bose speakers buy you need to almost force it on.....

See... That's what I'm talking about. I use my kids nano conector, and I feel I have to really jam the thing on. I've stopped using it.

Also, mine is clearly physically different (like you described). I'm wondering if this is something new. (32 GB Touch)
