iPod Different EQ between iPod touch and iPod nano 4th gen?

I notice the EQ is very different between those two. iPod nano amplified the target frequency and sometimes made the sound bad, but iPod touch actually leaves the target frequency and makes the rest quieter. So I have to turn the volume by few steps :confused:
