Hey everyone,

I just noticed something odd while browsing the Canadian Apple website for the new MacBook Air. It seems like the Sky Blue model has a different keyboard layout compared to the other colors (Silver, Starlight, and Midnight).

  • Silver and other color models: The ~ (tilde) key is in its usual position
  • Sky Blue Model: The tilde key is replaced by a different key (looks like an additional / | key instead)

This difference appears only on the Canadian site, and I'm wondering if it's a mistake or if Apple is actually shipping a different keyboard layout for the Sky Blue model in Canada.

Has anyone else noticed this? Could this be a French (Canadian) keyboard variant mistakenly shown for only one color?

Costco Canada is pre-selling the M4 Sky blue as well and their image shows the standard tilde configuration.

The pictures probably show different keyboard layouts

French Canadian Layout
This is a QWERTY variant of French layout, used by French-speaking citizens of Canada, mainly in the Quebec region. You can buy a MacBook or Apple keyboard with this layout.
