Different screens in Macbooks? Girlfriend's looks way better.

I just did a clean install of leopard to both of our macbooks, mine the mid-range new model and hers the low end new model.

Upon booting into leopard, her screen is MUCH prettier than mine. Deeper blacks and a great deal more colour in the purple space-ness.

We are both using the Adobe RGB profile, identical everything, same brightness settings, etc.

What could be the difference? Did i just end up with a washed out screen? Any remedy to this?

Is hers significantly newer than yours? Past that, I would reckon that they are different brand panels and as such you might have to calibrate yours beyond the Adobe profile.

my sisters 1.86ghz macbook pro is much brighter and cleaner looking than my newer 2.16ghz core duo. the whites on my screen are almost yellow looking, while hers are not. they've always been this way.
