Hey guys,

I just noticed that the sound of my 21.5" iMac speakers kinda changes notably when I´m using Windows (Bootcamp).

Compared to the sound while using Snow Leopard, it sound very thin, bass-less and... just strange. More like MacBook speakers, or just small speakers.

Another thing is that the headphone input doesn´t work on Windows.

Could these issues be related to audio drivers? I don´t know much about that sort of stuff... maybe you guys can help me, the sound is just terrible :(

Wow, that happens to me as well, I thought it was just me, but I guess it's not... I have the 21.5" iMac as well.

I'm guessing audio drivers are not as good as the ones on OS X?

Did you go into the speaker preferences and configure them properly? I know when I put bootcamp on my iMac, the speakers while on windows were set to quad instead of only stereo, choosing stereo instead of quadro did help quite a bit. I also adjusted some other settings, but the sound still wasn't quite the same as on osx.
