So I had one of those moments, where you just have a idea that seems genius, and you feel that you just have to get it out there. So this isn't anything revolutionary, but it could be a pretty cool way of viewing digg.
digg is great how it is, but I am thinking of future concepts and how they can keep a simple site and have some eye candy. So I thought of digg DNA, users create a new strand (a more specific category) when necessary and other users add stories, comments, links, images, and videos to it. The DNA strand grows (like a vine) over time and the most popular strands make the front page. Users can fly around in a world of strands and see the connections and use a magnifying glass to zoom in. Think of it as a city, where the buildings (DNA strands) are constructed of stories. The skyscrapers are the most popular topics. I could stay up all night trying to explain it. I know there is already a site that shows how things relate to each other, but this is much different in many ways.
