I am a hobby photographer, but my library is decent size. I currently use Adobe's Light Room Classic as a DAM. What is everyone else using? I don't mind Adobe, but I feel like there is probably a better option out there.

There is not much better than Lightroom actually, if you would like the editing capabilities within the DAM, and you don't mind the sub.

There are a few standalone options if that's what you prefer, (Photo Mechanic, for example) but if you edit in LR then it can only be LR (or Bridge) that will show you RAW edits you have made, without exporting.

There are other Lightroom type DAM's, for editing also, but none really come close to Adobes offering, RAW editing wise.

I moved over to sessions using Capture One, and just manage things myself with Finder, and put the good stuff in a special catalogue in C1 to help assist me finding my best work when I need to.

Prior to 2021, I used LR (still do for back catalogue) - and if I didn't prefer C1's way of editing I would still be using LR. It's quite an ideal system, albeit slow and annoying obviously.

Capture ones RAW convertor and editing capability is just the bomb though, and that's what its all about for me.
