Digital copy doesn't work

First of all, where is the iTunes forum in here?

So I recently gave someone The Fault in Our Stars that has the digital copy with it. They asked me to set it up.

So I went to here and typed in my info and the code. Then I clicked iTunes and nothing happened. Clicked it again, and it said that the code was redeemed. Tried calling support, but stupid me didn't realize that almost every store is closed on Christmas Day.

So, how can I redeem it so I get the movie on their iTunes account? They actually specifically asked so they could get the digital copy.

You redeemed the code when you typed in your information on the site you linked to. That is why iTunes gave you the message. You messed up.

What you should have done, is link the site in question to your friend, give them the code, and then they would be able to watch the movie on their new account.

Sorry, I'm getting mixed up. The movie was for me, I was getting confused with someone else who got a digital copy movie. But I got the error.

And when I clicked on the redeem button for iTunes nothing happened. I then tried clicking it again, and the website said that it was already used. Sorry for making that unclear.

So, what should I have done instead and how do I fix it?
