Ever since I received my Sport, I wished that it had the black coloring on the digital crown. I think that it just looks better. I know that there is a company called WatchDots that will be making stickers soon, but I did not want to wait. I also found a seller on eBay selling a pack of three stickers (red, white, black) for $4, but it will take time to arrive since it is coming from the UK.

I was in Michael's craft store today to pick something up and came across some raised dots in black, silver and white. I decided to buy them and see how it looks for now. It is not that bad, but I would rather have the flat ones. I decided to use the white one for now since I have the white band. I also orders the black sport band, but it has not shipped yet.

I like flat dots better for Apple Watch, but that's interesting. My Citizen Eco-drive has a black raised dot on its crown. I like dots on the crown, too. My SS has the black dot. When the flat sticker dots come out I might try a different color if they don't look tacky.

I can't really tell what the color is comprised of. On my Eco-Drive it is inset black enamel, or appears to be so anyway. On the Apple Watch it looks like it could just be a really well done paint job.

I thought I was the only one fond of the crown dots but it appears I'm not alone. :)

It is 42mm. I also like the flat dots. I am just using these to see how it looks and hold me over.

You would think that going to Michael's or any other craft store you could come up with 100 ideas. I can see it now googly eye dots! Lol

If you really want one now you could order one of Slickwraps skins and just use the digital crown decal.

If I was going to do it... get a hole puncher and some 3mm sticker tape sheets from your local hardware store or michaels and go crazy. Could cut out a 100 per sheet is my guess. It definitely looks nice, I would want something more permanent if I was going to do this on my device though.

I tried a regular hole punch, but it is too large. I ordered some right size dots from Ebay and should have them in about a week. This one will hold me over for now.

I'm interested to see what WatchDots are going to sell theirs for when it's finally ready. I guess signing up early for a 25% coupon wouldn't help.

Last black friday I got about $50 from slickwraps.com in one of their drawings, decided to hop over and see if they had anything for the watch and well...

https://slickwraps.com/devices/wearables/apple-watch.html

As much as I love SlickWraps' designs, when it comes to skins in general, I've never had one stay on as long as I wanted to. Especially when it comes to rounded edges and curves. They always eventually start to peel off and get dirty on those edges and never get to cleanly stick back on. Ultimately, it looks so bad, you just want to rip them off and chuck them in the trash.

I've got slickwraps on a couple products atm, no issues... one thing I would recommend, since this does have curves and the best way to install the "wrap" would be to align it properly, then get a hair-dryer and lightly heat each corner, it allows it to conform to the corner properly.

This is what I did for my MacBooks.

Good lord how do you get those slick wraps on without making a complete mess? I'm the type of person who ends up with my hand trapped in a wadded ball of Scotch tape when I am trying to wrap presents.

That looks like it requires precision application for the case wrap. I'd barely be able to handle the dots.

Is the skin and dot stocker held on via a one-time-use only kind of adhesive?
