iPod "digital only releases"

Anyone else annoyed when Steve Jobs said that 32% of releases last year were "digital only", not released on CD?

Steve, cd's ARE digital! You mean DOWNLOAD only.

I know, I'm being anal retentive about this...still annoys me though.

I'm more alarmed at the supposed trend. Until DRM-free and lossless files are available, nothing replaces the CD. For me at least.

I'm not paying over the odds for an inferior product.

It is quite a worrying thought but I'm buying more vinyl now than CDs or Downloads, so what do I know...
