Hello there,
I need buy a new laptop for me and I have dilemma. Based on Amazon prices I am considering the following options:
1. MacBook Pro 16 M1 Max 32/1TB
2. MacBook Pro 16 M2 16/1TB
3. MacBook Pro 16 M1 16/1TB ( the cheapest one)

Which would be a good deal? I know always depends, but this laptop will be for my private usage. My company have replaced my MacBook Pro 16 32/1tb to Lenovo thinkpad.
I will mainly work at home with AWS, MS azure, python. Sometimes for travel.

Unless the price difference is more than, say, $200, my recommendation is still option #2.

okay, I found it the other option refurbished m2 32gb/512 for cheaper then m1 max pro but more expensive by option 2 ca 100$. What do you think with this config? This would be my first refurbished purchase, but I don't think there's anything to worry about

Buy an openbox of no 3. Just do a search if you have some time to check/search around.

I don’t know what I did and why, but I went with refurbished base model m1 16/1TB from Apple Store for 2000$. I hope, it was the optional choice and will not regret

Really? Aren't new M2's $2000? I just bought a display model M1 Macbook Pro 16g/512 from P.C. Richard & Son for.... $1275 pretax ($1360 total).
