Hi everybody

I’m between a dilemma of choosing Apple Watch Series 7 or iPhone 14 pro max. I’m already an iPhone 13 pro max owner But I am thinking about if I should upgrade to 14 pro max or if I should buy the watch series 7, because the price difference of exchanging my 13 pro max to 14 pro max is about $300-$400, just as much as an Apple Watch series 7 aluminium costs.

I would like to know your opinions, and what do you think about these two options? Thank you.

If you don’t own Apple watch, get the watch for sure. If you already own some older Apple watch, the answer depends on which series you have.

I upgraded from iPhone 13 pro max to 14 pro max. Honestly, the only noticeable difference in daily use is the new camera. I would say that the year-to-year camera improvement from 12PM to 13PM was smaller than the jump from 13PM to 14PM. The novelty with Dynamic island wears off. It doesn’t really do anything useful and I don’t even notice it any more. As for always-on display, I already disabled it!

Hey bud, I’m on a 12 Pro Max which still has 91% battery health and serves me well.

I’ve ordered a Series 8 Apple Watch, which I am waiting for.

With regards to my iPhone, I don’t need a new one, but was thinking of just upgrading anyway?

I don’t have a computer at the moment, and am waiting for the 16” MBP to get the M2, then I’ll order.

Given all that I’ve said, would you bother with the 14 Pro Max, or just wait for the 15?

Thanks in advance.

I would get a watch. The day to day use between 14 vs 13 will be negligible. not mind blowing features. I prefer the Apple Watch and enjoyed the upgrade.
