Has anyone noticed that their screen has been unexpectedly dim (around, say 50% of the proper brightness) ?

I've seen this a few times and got out of it by pressing the crown.

I can't remember how I got to that point but I'm pretty sure that I've always been doing something with it and then had another look or noticed it soon afterwards.
