Dimming screen, Macbook, Win7

My early 2006 Macbook runs Windows 7 just fine, didn't need many workarounds.

The only thing that's bugging me now is the screen brightness. I have InputRemapper installed to let me use the FN keys like brightness and volume. But when I try to dim the screen, it goes dim for a couple seconds and then goes right back up to full brightness.

Anyone else with a similar problem? Does it have to do with InputRemapper?

It's a Windows thing, same problem here. Normally, what I do is go directly to the nVidia settings.

Frustrating as I have to go into some deep settings to do it, but thats Windcrap for you.

That sucks. I guess since I have the Intel GMA gpu, there won't be such an option for me... It actually worked fine with XP.

Then you have to go with Intel's crappy "video" software in the Control Panel.
