You would be able to send a link to ANY file on your iDisk (no matter which folder it was in) AND set restrictions on who could access it. You would have been able to set a password for that file and to only allow a limited number of downloads (e.g. one). It would still work if you needed a way to do a basic share of a file. Alternatively, you could place the file in the "Sites" folder on your iDisk, where the file would be at: http://homepage.mac.com/daveoc64/<filename here> Replace daveoc64 with your username.

Click to expand... I agree it is not same as clicking a button in iDisk that automatically sends a mail with a link to the file in it. You have to create the link yourself.
