I am having to start programming Direct X 9/10 programs for work, and I was wondering if the MBP's or MacPro would work. I would imagine that I can run BootCamp and run the apps just like a windows box.....But what about graphics cards? Does the Mac allow for DirectX compatible graphics cards to be installed?

Thanks for any help...

i've had no problems running the ati catalyst with directx9c on bootcamp. ATI hasn't supported the leopard platform specifically but there's a 10.4 compatible CCC as well.

ATI don't need to support Mac OS X. The drivers are built in, at least for graphics cards that come preinstalled in Macs.

By the way cross posting is against the rules, thought I should point that out.
