Direct X 9 with Boot Camp

Hello

When I install some games on my Mac on Windows XP it sometimes in the installer asks if I want to install Direct X 9. I presume this is something to do with the graphics, but would installing that version mess-up the ATi drivers provided on the Mac Windows Drivers disc?

Most games install DirectX 9 in case you haven't done so already. In most cases it'll do a version check first before installing. If you have the option not to then don't install it. It's not going to touch your video drivers.
