Direct X 9

I've installed win 7 twice now, and I'm finding that when I first get it going everything works as I would expect it to. However when I load back into it my direct x 9 drivers don't seem to work. I'm not sure how to fix this and any help would be much appreciated.
By the way have tried downloading drivers again but it doesn't work.

Why reinstall DirectX9 drivers? Windows 7 uses DirectX11 any game that ran on DirectX9 should still work on DirectX11.

I installed Direct x 10 because everytime I try and play a game the game tells me I have no drivers. But they were there when I first installed so I don't get it. I'll try and find direct 11 drivers though.

Got it sorted had to redownload nVidia driver from nVidia site.

Be sure to run the DX9 updater to ensure you have the latest version. Get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=2DA43D38-DB71-4C1B-BC6A-9B6652CD92A3&displaylang=en

Why Windows 7 doesn't come with the latest version of DX9 is beyond me.
