It's a great feature, too bad I hate the idea of satellite, I'm stuck with my manually recording Time Warner DVR... Oh, well.

Wow this is so great!!!! Alot better than logging in to DTV's website and doing it.... Just make sure you know which DVR you are recording to ....you can log into DTV's site and label them...cause I have 5. But this app makes it so easy and smooth!!!! I love you apple for the phone and I love this app.

This is only version 1. The app will probably be expanded with much greater functionality.

I searched for DirecTV about 10 minutes ago and found nothing, but now searched for DVR and it came up.

Looks nice.

Try connecting via Wi-Fi and see if it works. Sometimes the 3G network won't play nice with the app.

I can't even get it to load up on my phone. I'll try again from my computer when I get home. Sounds cool though. Logging on is time consuming.

While we are at it everyone needs to add Breaking Bad to there dvr... Comes on on Sunday nights AMC I believe... Great show

Basically it is "DirecTV Inc." but if you search for "DVR" is should show up in the first page of results.

Right now DirecTV is experiencing some intermittent server problems. The problem should eventually clear itself.

The only thing I know of is the Dish "SlingGuide". It's in beta right now:

are you on a 3G or 1st Gen iphone? I still can not get it to work on my 3G.

It works great, but I wish there was a way to tell if the program you searched is in HD. When I searched for NBA Basketball, I saw duplicate entries (one is HD the other is regular).
