Directv on 2021 MacBook Pro

Has anyone gotten Directv to work on the 2021 MacBook Pro? I login to their website and it I keep installing this app but I still can’t stream it online. I wish they made an app like I have for my iPad Pro. Thank you.

I have an M1 mini and it works fine, not issues. Had to sign into my account which took longer than I thought it should but once in no problems.

There are however some shows they do not let you watch online, for whatever reason.

Did you have to install the Directv Player and do you access Directv Satellite through your Safari browser on Directv website?

I was on the phone with both Directv and Apple support and they couldn’t figure it out. Thank you.

I recall having to download a player, but do not see one on my system. I access DirectTV via their web page in Safari, and I use a 3rd party internet service. I am running Big Sur, not Monterey. When I select a show it pops up in its own window.

Update, I just loaded it on a new laptop (M1 Air) running Monterey. I did not download a player. It did open program in it own window.
