Need help or suggestions!l

I have Directv, through AT&T. I also receive internet with Cox Communications, using an Arris Modem receiving wireless signal by using an Airport Extreme. All of my nodes (iPhones, Macs, PC's, my two apple TV's) receive a wireless signal and work great.

The Directv receiver is connected directly with coaxile cord from the satellite. There is a wireless video bridge that connects to all the mini genies (other tv's) in the house. All work. When using an ethernet cord (Airport to the receiver) I receive a signal and I can access all the internet services.

I cannot however, connect the Directv receiver to my Airport Extreme network using wifi. Using the Directv receivers menu settings, it does not locate any wireless networks.

I have called both Directv and Cox, both say that you cannot use the Airport. I find that hard to believe, there must be some way to configure. Really don't want to fork out bucks for another router.

Tired of having a cord running through the room, want to figure out how to connect wirelessly. Any suggestions?

Problem has been resolved. Messaged Directv and had them run an update on my system. Works great now!!
