Just finished using my iPad to chat with a Directv rep. I was surprised that the chat worked so well. It started as a pop-up on the screen and then they provided a link to move the whole chat to a new window. I expected the whole thing to crash when I tried to move the chat but it opened a new window perfectly.

Just wanted to share. I'm continually surprised to find how well this little thing handles everyday computing tasks. I love my iPad :D

Would you do this on an iPhone?

If it was incorporated in the app I would no problem. The ipad's larger screen and keyboard we pretty much a must in this application. They should work it into the app though. I'd like to see their app be a combination of remote dvr control and account control (like AT&T or Chase bank) with support options directly from my phone.

Now they need to upgrade their app to an iPad friendly GUI.

It would be nice if they app would look like the on-screen display where you could touch on a channel or program and it would let you record from there.

Anyway, glad you had a positive experience with their chat.
