so i was trying to insall an app on my imac in parallels and when i went to run it it said i needed directx. Is this an installable option or am i sol for now

Make sure you are using the latest update for Parallels. If you are, then while your virtual machine isn't running, go to the "Edit" menu and select "Virtual Machine...". Then select "Video" from the list on the left and make sure "Enable DirectX support" is checked.

thanks i actually found the option a few minutes ago and am trying to restart the thing.
