OS X Dirt 2 how to map keys to PS3 controller?

I have switched from keyboard to "controller" under presets but the thing is the keys are labeled 10, 9, 8 etc.. and not X, O, Triangle so how do I know what is what? Is there any way to map my buttons?

It does work plug and play R2 accelerates and L2 reverses but other than that I'm clueless. I'm hoping theres a layout I can at least refer to that tells me what is what, but maybe these are just the disadvantages of not using an actual game controller.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you plug in a PS3 gamepad the game will map all your keys to the standard (PS3) layout for playing. You should not have to do anything. The layout is the same as in the manual.
