Hi.
I wanna use my iPad in an exhibition and I would like to hide/disable ALL icon on it except one or two apps that I will use.
When I use restrictions I still have apps like mail, calendar etc.

I dont want to jailbrake it ofc.

I'd be greatful for any help!

Thanks,
Ompah

You could just backup your iPad and delete all the 3rd party apps and go here

Settings -> General -> Restrictions

Will enable you to disable several of the default apps.

Yes, but as I said, Im still stuck with some of the apps.

I still have: videos, notes, calendar, ipod, photos, mail, contacts, maps, setting + my own apps.

Since others will be using my iPad I wanna hide those things.

I wanna have only my own apps + Settings.

Thanx.
Ompah

How long is this exhibition, more than one day?

Maybe just back up and erase all content and add the 2 apps you need. Exhibition is done, load everything back to your ipad? You'll still have the default apps, but there wont be any information for anyone to snoop around in.

Create six pages of icons. Put all your personal ones on page 6. Place dummy icons on the 4 pages you're using as a spacer. These can be pure black: surf to a webpage with a black space, pinch to zoom so the black covers the screen, then add to Home screen as a link. The text can be a single dot. Your exhibition icon can be on page 1 for show. Otherwise, backup, jailbreak and then unjailbreak the next day. Or, as you rightly protested, masking tape. There is no other way.
