disable ichat mic?

i am using a powerbook, is there a way to have no mic use for ichat?

I guess you could set your input in system prefs.-->sound to line in. That way, the internal mic would not be on. I also think there is a preference in iChat that lets you not show others you're available for audio chat, but I'm not sure that's what you wanted.

So uncheck the microphone under the audio menu in ichat?
