Disable portrait homescreen possible?

I want to disable the portrait mode on the homescreen. Is this possible or do I have to use the systemwide rotation-lock?

Rotation lock in la landscape. You guessed it.

It's working.

When I use Safari, I simple swipe the control center up, disable rotation lock and after using safari I enable rotation lock again.

The Homescreen is shown now in portrait only and you don't have to wiggle your iPhone arround to bring it from landscape to portrait.
