Hi,

i recently purchased the new Macbook pro 16inch M1, previously i was using a 2015 mid macbook pro, I love the new machine its great and fast.

I didn't like the following two feature on this new mac

1. When we open the lid it automatically turn on the laptop
2. Why is the haptic feedback still working even after i shutdown the mac

Is there a way we can disable this one ?

Unfortunately, unless your MBP is unplugged with a completely dead battery, there doesn't seem to be any way to disable the "feature" that causes the computer to start when you open the lid (or press any button if the lid is already open). See here for a previous discussion:

thanks yeah i got a better idea now.
