iPad Pro Disabled iPad with "connect to iTunes" message. Macbook not recognizing iPad.

I got locked out of my iPad pro because I forgot my passcode. It says "iPad disabled, connect to itunes"

The problem is that my MBP is running Big Sur, and there is no iTunes. iPad is also not showing up under Finder.

I have tried three different USB-C cables and two different Macbooks (one with iTunes running Sierra and one without running Big Sur).

The iPad seems to charge, it just will not show up under Finder.

As of now, there is absolutely no way to restore my iPad.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

You need to boot your iPad into recovery mode.
