iPhone 13 and wifes iPhone 11...

call me crazy but I'm noticing that when I disable touch to wake in settings the phone feel so much more responsive.

Can anyone else anyone else comment?

Sorry to hijack this thread, but if you disable it, and disable Raise To Wake, you’ll face a momentary stutter when waking up the phone using the side button. It’s as if there is a two-stage screen brightness upon waking up the phone. Has anyone noticed it under this circumstances?

Its been mentioned before in other threads! I never used touch to wake function. I had it turned off on all my previous iphones.

With the 13 pro max i have it enabled because i hate that stuttering! Lets hope it will be fixed with a future update ?

Where is “Touch to Wake“ in settings? I don’t see it under Display & Brightness.

On another note, what keeps the phone from waking when in pocket, especially when cycling or engaging in other high-motion activities? I’m thinking of disabling Raise to Wake as a preventive anti-battery drain measure, as it takes all of an extra 1/2 second to touch the screen to wake.

You can find Tap to wake here:
Accesibility -> Touch -> Tap to Wake

I'm kind of in disbelief that none of you are saying it's faster I had three or four friends shut it off and they all are saying the phone feels much more responsive.

I just tried it, when I first turned it off it seemed more responsive, then turned it back on and it felt just as responsive. Pretty sure it’s just placebo
